Hometown Hospitality

The Scottsdale Resort & Conference Center is a firm believer that active corporate citizenship can make a valuable contribution to our community by supporting social, educational and cultural programs.

As a property under the management of Benchmark Hospitality International, we are very proud to be a part of Benchmark's Hometown Hospitality Caring for Our Communities initiative that encourages the people who are the heart of its properties to reach out to improve the communities in which they live, learn and play.

Partnering with the Arizona USO

Scottsdale Resort is participating in the Benchmark Hospitality International company-wide partnership with the United Services Organization (USO), as part of our Hometown Hospitality initiatives. As a part of this partnership, Scottsdale Resort is donating a five day vacation for a military service family of four, a welcome home reception for a soldier returning from their tour of duty, complimentary room nights for service personnel traveling to/from their tour of duty or families of fallen soldiers, as well as volunteering and fundraising with our local USO.

If you would like to support the USO and partner with Scottsdale Resort in this important initiative to serve our military and their families, you can do so by donating to the Arizona USO.

Supporting Sierra Vista Academy

In 2003, SRCC set out to find a local school that would benefit from our assistance in an Adopt-a-School program. SRCC chose Sierra Vista Academy, an alternative school that is part of the Scottsdale Unified School District. Since that time SRCC has assisted Sierra Vista Academy with meeting space to hold numerous graduation ceremonies; donated a used piano and podiums; and hosts a holiday lunch buffet for their staff. Also, a group of SRCC staff served as judges for their Science Fair; and through various fundraisers we provide gift cards to various restaurants and stores which they use as incentives for students.
