Scottsdale, Arizona, December 2009 - The Scottsdale Resort & Conference Center has been awarded an Elite Gold certification by Santa Barbara-based Elite Meetings International (EMI). EMI is a comprehensive resource for corporate, association and incentive planners in search of luxury properties that match their group travel needs. Their endorsement is strictly objective, offering planners credible, peer-rated information about first-class hotels and resorts.
The Elite Gold certificate is awarded by the Elite Meetings Advisory Board, an independent panel of 18 veteran meeting planners and hoteliers who developed the standards for group meetings and incentive properties. Elite Gold recognition is granted only to properties offering exceptional experiences for groups and takes into account accommodations, activities, food and beverage, meeting facilities and service.
